Tending the Garden of Your Soul

There are times we simply need to tend to the Garden of our Souls. There is much to do about tending the garden of the body in this world. All types of media espouse the idea of taking care of one's body, so you can be healthy, attractive and live longer. But what of the Soul. Surely, it has importance as well. Perhaps even more than we think!

Proverbs 28:19 ( The Message Bible )"Work your garden—you'll end up with plenty of food; play and party—you'll end up with an empty plate" ( The New American Standard Bible ) "He who tills his land will have plenty of food, But he who follows empty pursuits will have poverty in plenty."

Give thought to your daily pursuits. Do you take time to Tend the Garden of Your Soul? If you are a Christian...then your spirit is saved! But that is your future inheritance!(We live daily inview of that inheritance.) But what of your soul? Your soul is your mind, emotions, and will. How is the health of your soul? Is there proverty in your garden or is there plenty of food?

I Thessalonians 5:23 (Ampliflied Bible)
And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
